Mechanical Team,

We are in the 4th week of build season and this week is the most important week of all! Your attendance this is critical for our team to be successful. We are going to be meeting every night this week except for Thursday. Your attendance is mandatory! If you have other commitments that require you to miss our meetings you need to let me know. There are a few of you who have been missing too many meetings and are jeopardy of being dropped from the team (you know who you are).

Each Day we meet we will accomplish the following:

Saturday: Understand the game. Have the kids simulate the game in mobile chairs like we did last year so the students get a better appreciation for the game.

Sunday: What is our strategy? Complete the game analysis & determine WHAT we are going to do.

Monday: What is the robot concept? HOW are we going to achieve our strategy? Break into four teams to brainstorm a design concept.

Tuesday: Continue with design concept in breakout settings.

Wednesday: Students outbrief team concepts – select SHS robot concept. Identify risk areas to prototype over the next four days.

After Wednesday, teams will be meeting at the descretion of their team leads. After we get the challenge, I will release a project schedule.
